Am I trying to win over human beings or God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I wouldn’t be Christ’s slave. (Galations 1:10)

Do you trust His plans? Are you living for His purpose, or for your own?

“The great danger with most of us is that, after we ask Him to do it, we do not believe it is done, but we keep on helping Him, and getting others to help Him; and waiting to see how He is going to do it. Faith adds its “Amen” to God’s “Yea”, and then takes its hands off, and leaves God to finish His work.” [Excerpt from Days of Heaven Upon Earth]

Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Luke 6:37-38)

Treat people with the compassion that you want to be treated with, be the example. Forgive, even if you aren’t asked. Don’t evaluate whether your forgiveness is deserved because we aren’t qualified to make that judgement. Forgive because that is what the Lord tells us to do. Forgive yourself, forgive others, and look beyond- God has some good plans for you!

He also told them this parable: “Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit?  The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher. (Luke 6:39)
