A faith walk…

Nevertheless, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Therefore I am certain that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth nor any creature shall be able to separate us from the charity of God, which is in Christ, Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:37-39)

We can’t force open the bloom of a rose. It opens in its own time and when it does it is glorious. Our faith is the same way, it is beautiful when it is under wraps and when exercised it blossoms into a beautiful display.

What would have happened if Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had lost their faith and courage, and complained, saying “Why did God not keep us out of that furnace?” They would have been burned and God would not have been glorified. If there is a great trial in your life today, do not own it as a defeat or a disappointment, but continue, by faith, to claim the victory through Him who is able to make you more than a conqueror, and a glorious victory will soon be apparent. Let us learn that all the hard places God brings us into, He is making opportunities for us to exercise such faith in Him as will bring about blessed results and greatly glorify His name. [Adapted from Life of Praise]

When trials come recognize them as the starting line of your faith walk. Trust in Him, follow the path, and finish strong. You are more than a conqueror.

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. (2 Corinthians 4:17)
