Lay down the burdens of 2015…

Take a break

Photo by: K. Davis (maybe I should have stopped and smelled the flowers longer and the shot would not have been blurry! Lesson reminders…)

“Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these” (Luke 12:27)

Stop. Breathe. Let all the worries and stress go. Let God fill you with His peace, His love, and His direction. You aren’t meant to carry these burdens. Lay them down, and don’t pick them up again.

Leave the burdens of 2015 in 2015. Resolve not to lift them again. Just lay them at the foot of the cross. Embrace 2016 with a spirit of gratitude, knowledge that He is leading you, and the belief that you will dance with the joyful!

Stop and smell the flowers. His creations, reminders of His love for beauty, and fragrant offerings.

Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp. (Psalm 149:3)
