Our Shepherd

Dec 4

In the same region, shepherds were staying out in the fields and keeping watch at night over their flock. (Luke 2:8)

The shepherd watches the flock day and night. He protects the sheep from dangerous predators. He leads them to safe harbors, ensuring that they have food, water, and rest. He keeps the flock together, making sure that not even one goes missing. He knows the destination and the sheep follow his lead.

Jesus is our Shepherd. He watches over us day and night, keeping us safe from danger. He leads us to safety. He gives us rest. He knows the way, and we follow His lead.
