The Rock

Tues Psalm 2

From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. (Psalm 61:2)

This life is not easy. In fact, at times, it is downright sad, challenging, and overwhelming. In those moments, when our hearts are overwhelmed, and it seems like we have lost sight of the way and are wading through a sea of muck, grab on to the higher Rock.

The Rock is steady and secure, it won’t move. The Rock will provide a chance to rest and catch your breath. The Rock will provide solid footing, and an opportunity to get grounded.

In those moments, cling to the Rock.

On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. (Psalm 62:7)
