The same power…

Hebrews 13 6

The same power that raised Jesus from the grave lives in you.  Take a moment and breathe that realization in.

Do you know that you can do all that God calls you to do because that same power lives inside of you? The same power that directed the stone that slayed the giant lives in you. You can conquer your giants. You can conquer the challenge that is staring you down because God lives in you, He equips you, and He is for you.

That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. (Ephesians 1:20-21)

Guard, through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you. (2 Timothy 1:4)

Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?     (1 Corinthians 3:16)

God has promised that He will equip us to live the life that He calls us to live (Hebrews 13:21). God calls us to be more than conquerors (Romans 8:37-39). Conquerors do not give up or give in, conquerors conquer and God calls us to be more than conquerors.

When you feel weary, or you are just not sure that you have the strength to tackle the situations in your life, ask God to tune you in to His power that lives inside you and rest in the promise that He has and will equip you with whatever you need to do what He has called you to do.

Sometimes we need to adjust our perspective to remember that the successful outcome is His successful outcome, and that may not match our expectations or our definition of success. When we claim victory for Him over the trials, challenges, and obstacles in our lives we turn those things over to Him; His battle plan, His definition of success, and His timetable.
