Sailing past the storms

The path of the righteous is level;
    you, the Upright One, make the way of the righteous smooth.” Isaiah 26:7

“Walk with Me along paths of trust. The most direct route between point A and point B on your life journey is the path of unwavering trust in Me. As soon as you realize you have wandered from your trust-path, look to Me and whisper “I trust You, Jesus”. This affirmation will help you get back on track.

Anxious thoughts branch off in all directions, taking you farther and farther from awareness of My Presence. You need to voice your trust in Me frequently. This simple act of faith will keep you waling along straight paths with Me.” Sarah Young- Jesus Calling

The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed,
    a stronghold in times of trouble.
Those who know your name trust in you,
    for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.” Psalm 9:9-10

Shallow nature lives on impulses, its impressions, its intuitions, its instincts, and very largely its surroundings. I am on the path with the Lord. The struggle is based on impulse, impressions, and its surroundings. It could not stand in any surrounding other than its current one. Our path is headed to the afterwards.

My eyes are ever on the Lord,
    for only he will release my feet from the snare.” Psalm 25:15

Trusting God means looking beyond what we can see to what God sees. -Walking With God, Life Principle #9
