Ceaseless thanksgiving and joy

I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8

Because I never change, your relationship with Me provides a rock-solid foundation for your life. I will never leave your side. When you move on from this life to the next, My Presence beside you will shine brighter with each step. You have nothing to fear because I am with you for all time and throughout eternity. Sarah Young- Jesus Calling

  • God is the never changing foundation of my life.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8

Nothing that is not God’s will can come into the life of one who trusts and obeys God. This fact is enough to make our life one of ceaseless thanksgiving and joy. For “God’s will is the one hopeful, glad, and glorious thing in the world”; and it is working in the omnipotence for us all the time, with nothing to prevent it if we are surrendered and believing. -Streams in the Desert

  • God is the never changing foundation of my life, and my life is consecrated to His will.

But you remain the same,
    and your years will never end.
 The children of your servants will live in your presence;
    their descendants will be established before you.” Psalm 102:25

“One who was passing through deep waters of affliction wrote to a friend: “Is it not a glorious thing that, no difference how unjust a thing may be, or how absolutely it may seem to be from Satan, by the time it reaches us it is God’s will for us, and will work for good to us? For all things work together for good to us who love God.”

And even of the betrayal, Christ said, “The cup which my father gave me, shall I not drink it?” We live charmed lives if we are living in the center of God’s will. All the attacks that Satan, through other’s sin, can hurl against us are not only powerless to harm us, but are turned into blessings on the way” -Streams in the Desert

  • God is the never changing foundation of my life, and my life is consecrated to His will. He has a plan for my life and works all things together for good.

For this God is our God for ever and ever;
    he will be our guide even to the end.” Psalm 48:14

Am I prepared to let God grip me by His power and do a work in me that is worthy of Himself? Sanctification is not my idea of what I want God to do for me; sanctification is God’s idea of what He wants to do for me, and He has to get me into the attitude of mind and spirit where at any cost I will let Him sanctify me wholly. -Oswald Chambers

Throughout our lives, the Father encourages us along the way. He protects us- safeguarding the outcome of our obedience to Him. He shields us from situations and circumstances we’re not even aware of. He heals, comforts, and teaches us. He answers our prayers. He is a very personal God- He is intimately involved in every detail of our lives. -Walking With God, Life Principle #14

  • God is the never changing foundation of my life. He is intimately involved in every detail of my life. My life is consecrated to His will. He has a plan for my life and works all things together for good.

One of the greatest blessings that has come out of the struggle, that is evident to me, is the adjustment of my perspective. I recognize the enemy is behind this but I  also recognize that God has already won, He has already triumphed, regardless of the outcome. I understand that by the time this struggle came barreling into my life, by the time it reached me, God had already incorporated it into His will for my life and already was weaving it into good. It isn’t any of my business to know the why and how of it- just to remain in the trial to the end and following God one step at a time.
