We are royalty!

“Be still before the Lord
    and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
    when they carry out their wicked schemes.” Psalm 37:7

God does not require us to understand His will, just obey it, even if it seems unreasonable. Everything you are concerned about or that causes you to hesitate, God has already figured it out. Before He called you, He knew how to solve every challenge you would ever encounter. -Walking With God: Life Principle #5

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

While preparing a message about the trial of losing his young son, the pastor struggled to compose words that he was no longer sure were true. He prayed and asked God to let His grace be sufficient for him. After praying he noticed a framed illuminated text given to him by his mother that said “My grace is sufficient for you”. “In one moment the message came straight to my soul, as a rebuke for offering such a prayer as, “Lord, let Thy grace be sufficient for me”; for the answer was almost as an audible voice, “How dare you ask for what is?” God cannot make it any more sufficient than He has made it; get up and believe it, and you will find it true, because the Lord says it in the simplest way: “My grace is (not shall be or may be) sufficient for thee.” The lesson that came to me, and which I seek to convey to others, is, Never turn God’s facts into hopes, or prayers, but simply use them as realities, and you will find them powerful as you believe them.” -Prebendary H.W. Webb Peploe

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38

If we are in communion with God and recognize that He is taking us into His purposes, we shall no longer try to find out what His purposes are. As we go on in the Christian life it gets simpler, because we are less inclined to say- Now why did God allow this and that? Behind the whole thing lies the compelling of God. “There’s a divinity  that shapes our ends.” A Christian is one who trusts the wits and the wisdom of God, and not his own wits. If we have a purpose of our own, it destroys the simplicity and the leisureliness which out to characterize the children of God. -Oswald Chambers

” But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9

Take time to rest by the wayside, for I am not in a hurry. A leisurely pace accomplishes more than hurried striving. When you rush, you forget who you are and Whose you are. Remember that you are royalty in My kingdom. -Jesus Calling

He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”  For “you were like sheep going astray,” but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.” 1 Peter 2:24

Yesterday’s blessings: answers to prayer, provision and blessing for the remainder of the struggle with the giant &  peace and promise prevail. Hallelujah and Amen!
