Spotting the angels

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.  I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.” -John 10:27

Jesus sends us messages. There is no limit to the way he communicates with us, through sounds, sights, thoughts, impressions, and scriptures. Our part is to be attentive to His messages in whatever form they come. He is not only in beauty and bird calls, but also in tragedy and faces filled with grief. He can take the deepest sorrow and weave it into a pattern for good. -Jesus Calling

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

I do not ask my cross to understand, my way to see- Better in darkness just to feel Thy hand, and follow Thee.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

“God blesses us so that we might bless others.” -Walking With God, Life Principle 25 That means that He intervenes in other people’s lives through our willingness to help them and to meet their emotional, material, or spiritual needs as He directs.

I think about the folks who crossed my path just in the past week alone, some who I believe were angels appeared with a smile, kindness, and warm words in the very moments I needed it most, and some- it seemed- needed something from me. I hope that in their moment I gave them what they needed- that whole “weaving everything into a pattern for good”  concept is lived out daily. It is eye-opening to reflect back and see the actual examples of just how that worked in the last week alone.

Blessings: that I am back home, that there is a respite in the struggle, that there is a plan for the future and that it is good. For those who are praying for me- thank you! I feel your prayers surround me during the journey and it just means the world to me. Please expand your prayers to also include my health as I have done something to my back that is just causing me to be in miserable pain. And that plumeria- it is blooming like mad! Its flowers are three colors: brilliant pink, pure clean white, and a restoration yellow. It is spectacular.
