Faith persevering in trial

“I waited patiently for The Lord; And he inclined to me, And heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. -Psalm 40:2

Yesterday we left the courthouse for lunch. We went to Rubio’s and sat outside to get some fresh air. I looked over to the table across the courtyard and saw some familiar faces- a men’s Bible study from Bible Fellowship Church. With some encouragement from my mom I walked over to their table, introduced myself and told them about my case, and asked for prayer. Those wonderful men prayed over me and encouraged me- God is so great to have planned that blessing for me. When they were done they told that they had just been talking about feeling the need to pray for someone right around them but they weren’t sure who so they prayed for everyone on the patio and then a few minutes later I walked up and claimed that prayer. God is so good!

Notion your mind with the idea that God is there- everywhere you go, in the trials and even on the patio at Rubio’s and claim His blessing.
