Neither know we what to do; but our eyes are open upon thee. 2 Chronicles 20:12
I didn’t choose this fight, but I choose to fight. That is a choice and I made it.
I also chose to get out of bed this morning. I chose to do my daily devos and to pray. I chose to walk my dog. I chose to put one foot in front of the other and get on with the day. I chose to stop and see the beauty in blooming flowers and listen to the waves. I chose to check the plumeria on my patio to see if its gorgeous flowers have opened- not yet but soon.
I chose to share my struggle with my cousins and extended family members. I chose to allow myself to be encouraged.
When we are mid-struggle it can seem like we don’t have any choices and it is easy to fall into a victim mentality. I know that isn’t the right perspective. So today, I choose to shake that off and recognize the choices that I do make and celebrate those.
